Run With All Your Hart Virtual Race

I've done 5K Virtual races through SparkPeople.com  but that is only one way to track virtual runs and watch your progress.  This is the first virtual run that I seen that I actually wanted to participate in as it was set up to honour and remember.  She was on an early morning run when she was picked up and then killed.  She left behind a family who then came  up with the race.  My t-shirt never got here in time but I'll wear it when it does come.  Here's the link to the site where you can read more about the run.
Run With All Your Hart

It took me 43:47 to do 6.4 km which is 4 miles and I ran it at an average pace of 6'49/km.  A slower pace but I wanted to make sure that I actually made it through the run as it was a longer distance than what I'm used to.  I'm happy with that as I just started running in April of this year.  Here are some photos of my run.

This is a before-run first thing before headed out.  Heart sign in honour of Sarah Hart.

On my way back from the Track.  Yes, I ran up this same hill on my there.  It's tough!
My husband took some photos of me as I'm approaching home again.

He continued to snap them as I ran by him.  My water bottle kept sliding around.
 See ya in a bit!
Just about done.  Just have to go a little around the corner to make it a 4 Mile Run.
